Epilogue Life is provided by Employ AI Pty Ltd (ABN 21 672 202 612) as a free planning companion. This website and the Epilogue Life agent (the "software") are provided as-is and as-available, without warranties of any kind, express or implied.
The software is source-available and licensed to you under the PolyForm Noncommercial License 1.0.0: free to use, change and share for any noncommercial purpose, with credit to the copyright holder. Commercial use requires a separate arrangement. The full licence ships with the software.

Disclaimer
Epilogue Life is not legal advice, medical advice, financial advice, or a will. It is a planner that helps you record your wishes and organise your thinking. For wills, powers of attorney, advance care directives, DNR orders and anything else with legal force, see the qualified professionals in your state or country; the agent will point you to them, and never replaces them.
It is not therapy, diagnosis or crisis support. The agent is an assistant and says so. In a hard moment it stops its work, responds with care, offers verified helplines, and points to real people.

AI can make mistakes. The agent drafts and organises; you should review everything it writes, and the final plan is yours. Never treat generated text as a verified fact about your own life until you have read it.
Privacy
Your plan lives with you. The Epilogue Life agent runs on your own machine and keeps everything in your own folder. Your answers, letters, plans and playlists are not uploaded to us, and we cannot see them. You can move, back up or delete the folder at any time.
This website collects no accounts and no personal information. It is a static site. It loads fonts from Google Fonts and a video from YouTube, which receive the requests your browser sends them, as with any site embedding their services.
Sharing is your choice, in the moment. If you connect an email account (for example through Maton) to send your plan to a loved one, the send happens from your own account, to a recipient you name and confirm. We never receive a copy.
The hosted app. A separate hosted version of Epilogue Life exists at app.epilogue.life for people who prefer it. That service has its own terms and privacy practices; using it is optional and independent of the free agent.

Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Victoria, Australia, and any dispute is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Victoria.
